Dr. Soncayaon-Ramos finished her medical degree at University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. She
did her residency training at State University of New York in Brooklyn and at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center- Shadyside Hospital. Her subspecialty is surgical pathology which she finished at University of Kentucky Hospital.

She is board certified in both anatomic and clinical Pathology and has been in practice for 21 years. Her special interests are gastrointestinal, breast, and urogenital pathology and cytopathology.
